Milk- the word we hate (most of us). But I just love milk. So, what we should do with that milk. Nothing? Hey, it’s not that bad. And I will today, introduce you to the wonders of a milk bath. Yes, milk isn’t made just to be eaten with cornflakes. It has its own magic. And it can do wonders for your skin.
Since the times of Cleopatra, milk has been in use to clean, nourish and beautify skins of many. The beautiful (or not) Cleopatra used to bathe herself in camel’s milk quite frequently. OK! I won’t tell you to do that at least. Taking a milk bath is, believe me, one of the easiest ways to flaunt your looks and make your skin glow instantly. And you don’t need many things for it, just a bathtub and a carton of milk is all you require.
Milk is incredibly beneficial for the skin in many different ways. Its qualities lie in its constituents. Milk works wonders for skin as it contains different kinds of acids. The alpha hydroxy acid contained in milk, also known as lactic acid, acts as a gentle, deep cleanser for skin. Beta hydroxy acid, also contained in the milk, acts an excellent skin exfoliant. And all of us know skin exfoliation is extremely important. Milk also contains fat and proteins that will provide your skin a softer, richer feeling. And so, fat milk is far better then skimmed milk.
So, next time you thinking of giving yourself a pleasurable bath, just mix lukewarm milk in your tub full of water. And if you really feel sick of that scent of it, just add some strong scented flower essence to it. And enjoy the luxury of a milk bath.
