The organic wave is taking each and every in its strong-hold and very soon the world will be a more natural place as more and more are joining the ‘green’ bandwagon.
Supermarket Asda’s acquisition of the Bentley Organic personal care range is a major win for the organic movement. And its a fact that if you want to remain in the competition, you have to go with the trend.
Majority of UK’s leading supermarkets are leaning towards cosmetics that are natural and organic and are safe for the skin and for the environment.
Though many of the supermarkets have chosen to start their own label of organic cosmetics, Asda feels outsourcing already established organic brands are cost saving.
Jamie Bentley, founder of Bentley Organic, said:
Winning the contract with Asda is a remarkable achievement and speaks volumes about the quality of the Bentley Organic range. We have combined 200 years of experience in soap manufacturing with the highest standards of organic integrity outlined in the Soil Association Organic Standard, to create an affordable organic brand of personal care products.
The organic range consists of 100% organic products such as detoxifying, calming and moisturising deep cleansing ranges. The range is accepted by the Soil Association’s strict organic guidelines for the ingredients and will be in stores by mid-April.
The step taken the ’supermarket giant’ of the Wall Mart Group is sure to be followed by many in the field.
