Where I like guys with dandy looks, I hate unwanted hair myself. Yeah! I know any lady will...and I am no exception. However, unwanted hair are our fact of life and we have to deal them with anyway...rather only one way that calls for pain. Well, you got me right; I am talking about waxing indeed. Especially in summers when you wear those sleeveless uppers, knee-height pants, you would not like yourself to be called hairy or unhygienic. Whatever, it’s true we go through a lot of pain to make ourselves clean.
There are three ways to keep our hair at bay:-
• Waxing - which most of us follow but it gives a hell lot of pain. Moreover, some of us can’t go for it as it, may cause allergic reactions in the skin. It is cheap indeed but we have to do it every fifteen days, which takes lot of our precious time. Also, one point you need to keep in your mind is that if waxing is done in an unskillful manner it can harm or cut your skin and can lead to unwanted patterns.
• Shaving is one method that a few of us do follow. However, I’ll suggest that you better go through pain rather then sticking to this method of hair removal. Also, shaving can give you cuts, bruises, skin irritations and ingrown hair. Shaving even leads to thicker and faster growth of hair gradually.
• Laser removal is one method that people in higher strata of society are following as it is costly indeed. Yes, it does lead to a long relief but initially it is very painful and long.
So, out of the three, I am sure that I’ll forever stick to waxing. Thus here are five pointers for you to have safe and successful waxing:
1. Waxing, as I said, can lead to skin allergies or other problems. Thus, if you know that you have some skin problems don’t wax. Take the patch test first to ensure that waxing won’t harm your skin. You can always go for bleach instead, that too if it doesn’t harm you.
2. Pay heed to the instructions given on the product you are using for waxing. Yes, you know the procedure; you have done it hundred times before, but take it as a precaution.
3. After you have completed your waxing, don’t get into a pool or sauna at once. Wait for a few hours and then do whatever you want.
4. If you are out there in the sun, getting a tan don’t wax yourself immediately after that. We all know that waxing does help you to get away with the tan, but doing it just after a sunbathe can harm your skin. It can also rip off some of the upper layers of skin.
5. Last but not the least, if you don’t know how to wax at all or are unsure about yourself, go to a parlor or learn the skill from your friend.
Stay clean stay stylish!
